The couple then wandered around Pasar Minggu to look for various cooking needs. The lively atmosphere of the traditional market made their shopping experience feel more exciting.
Azriel Hermansyah already had a plan to cook Sarah a green chili chicken dish. Therefore, most of the ingredients they searched for were adjusted to the needs of that menu.
When at the chicken seller's stall, Azriel Hermansyah asked about the price of chicken per kilogram, which turned out to be Rp50 thousand. To stay within budget, he ultimately decided to buy only half a kilogram.
After obtaining the chicken, Azriel continued the search for other ingredients. Lime became one of the important ingredients on the shopping list to enhance the flavor of the dish.
Azriel Hermansyah and Sarah also stopped by a spice vendor to buy lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, ginger, and garlic.
Not only focusing on the main menu, Azriel also bought water spinach. The vegetable is planned to be stir-fried as a complement to the dish.
After wandering around and carefully counting every expense, Azriel successfully obtained all the needed ingredients for a total of Rp60 thousand.
