The Indonesia Fashion Week 2026 stage has just recorded the names of two young faces who managed to steal attention, Nathania Caya Dewi and Maxillianus Abbie Kumon. Both presented collections born from a simple belief that even used materials still have a chance to live again.

Nathania has just completed her high school education and will continue her studies in Fashion Design at ESMOD Jakarta. Her interest in material exploration and sustainable design becomes the main asset in her work.

Meanwhile, Maxillianus is currently pursuing his studies in Industrial Engineering at the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) Surabaya. His engineering background actually adds a different color, especially in thinking about the production process and material efficiency.

The meeting of these two backgrounds makes their work feel unique, combining both creative and technical aspects at the same time. The collection titled ReWoven in White is the fruit of this collaboration, carrying the theme Cloud Dancer in North of Sumatera, which combines the gentle movement of clouds with the architectural character of the Batak Bolon House.

White denim pieces that were once considered scraps and unused are reassembled through patchwork techniques until they transform into elegant couture garments. The balloon skirt silhouette in this collection depicts clouds moving freely in the sky of North Sumatra. When parading on the IFW 2026 stage, this collection is dominated by pure white from the combination of denim and cotton, giving a soft yet luxurious impression.

The upper part of the outfit is designed with a strong structure that represents the strength of Rumah Bolon, combined with a balloon skirt silhouette that gently expands like clouds, creating a visual dialogue between softness and sturdiness in every step of the models. "Through ReWoven in White, we want to show that every leftover piece of denim still has value and a chance to be revived," said Nathania.

For both of them, true luxury does not come from new materials, but from the ability to create new value through creativity and care for the environment. "For us, fashion is not just about creating something beautiful, but also about appreciating the environment, celebrating Indonesian culture, and presenting works that have meaning," said Maxillianus.

The creative journey of Nathania and Maxillianus is accompanied by fashion designer Elok Re Napio, known for her exploration of sustainable fashion and the development of Nusantara textiles, as a creative mentor in refining the concept to a ready-to-wear collection.

Their works are now under the label DARIKU Indonesia, a fashion brand that promotes the philosophy of Ethical, Sustainable, and Luxury.

Through this label, Nathania and Maxillianus hope to prove that Indonesian youth are capable of presenting beautiful works that also have a positive impact on the environment.
