The extreme weather that has hit several regions in Indonesia lately has become a serious concern for Dennis Adhiswara. The actor, who is also known as a technology enthusiast, shared his terrifying experience when facing the impact of bad weather in his own home.

Dennis recounted an incident where the roof of his house was once damaged due to a structure from a neighboring building being blown away by strong winds. Fortunately, there were no casualties in the incident as the room was empty.

"My roof was once damaged. It was because a structure from the neighboring house was blown by the wind, broke, and then directly hit my roof. Luckily, at that time, there was no one in the room," Dennis recalled when met in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (30/12/2025).

The incident became a valuable lesson for Dennis. He imagined that if there had been someone underneath him at that moment, the consequences could have been very fatal, like a scene in the Mortal Kombat game he often played.

"But I swear, that roof incident, if a metal pole had fallen and I was underneath, it would have been like Mortal Kombat. Dead," he said in a serious tone.

Learning from experience and seeing the rise of fire disasters, Dennis emphasizes the importance of having a Fire Extinguisher (APAR) in every home.

He himself has equipped his house with three fire extinguishers placed in fire-prone areas as a precaution.

"Certainly mandatory to have a fire extinguisher. So for friends, if in 2026 there is extra fortune, buy a fire extinguisher to keep at home," he urged the community.

In addition to technical preparations, Dennis also invites the community to pray for the victims of natural disasters that occurred in Sumatra and Manado. He hopes that in the coming year, the natural conditions can be more friendly and have fewer disasters.

"Hopefully I can only offer the best prayers from our family, along with those for the families of the victims," said Dennis empathetically.
