Denny Sumargo Says Dorce Gamalama Wants to be Buried as a Woman

Denny Sumargo's visit was to directly see the health condition of the presenter who is familiarly called Bunda Dorce. This 40-year-old artist said that Bunda Dorce's condition is much better than what he saw on social media.

In recent months, Dorce Gamalama's condition has declined due to suffering from diabetes. Dorce has undergone treatment at Pertamina Central Hospital. After being treated, the 58-year-old presenter was also diagnosed with Alzheimer's dementia.

Apparently, this disease greatly affects the memory, thinking, and behavior of the star of the film HANTU BIANG KEROK.

Seeing Dorce's current condition, who can only sit in a wheelchair, Denny Sumargo admits feeling sad. Because, Denny Sumargo sees that Dorce's condition is very different from before.

"I saw the condition of mother who used to be healthy and fit, yesterday seeing her condition made me sad. Why? Because I am one of the people who followed mother's era when she was still active," he said.

Dorce is one of the artists in the country who is idolized by Denny Sumargo. For the artist dubbed as "Arrogant Basketball Player", Dorce is not an artist who relies only on sensation. However, Denny Sumargo considers the 58-year-old presenter as one of the artists who has a lot of achievements.

"Mother is not an entertainer who plays in sensation, but in achievements. I am happy that I can finally meet and be entertained by the work of someone I admire and have been entertained by since I was young," he said.

While staying at Bunda Dorce's residence, Denny Sumargo not only gave attention and assistance. But, Dorce also shared a lot about her illness with the artist who is familiarly called Densu. Coincidentally, all of Dorce's grievances were broadcasted on Denny Sumargo's YouTube channel, namely Curhat Bang Denny Sumargo.

"That's what is conveyed in my podcast. After talking, Bunda rests immediately. And the main point is what she wants in my podcast, whether she needs financial support or not. She explained that she wants to recover and receive attention," said Denny Sumargo.

Not only did Dorce talk about her illness to Denny Sumargo. In fact, Dorce also mentioned about death. In that YouTube video, Dorce said that if she passes away, she wants to be buried as a woman.

"That's her message. I asked a sensitive question, I asked, 'if you don't want to answer, don't,' she answered that Bunda wants to be buried as a woman," he concluded.
