Bopak Castello's departure to Mecca can be considered a stroke of luck. Because at that time, Bopak casually asked for an Umrah gift as his wife had just had her birthday.
"Hey, my wife wants to perform Umrah," said Bopak Castello to Raffi Ahmad, quoted from YouTube Trans7 Official, Thursday, December 22, 2022.
Initially, Raffi refused because Bopak still owed him Rp80 million. But Raffi changed his mind and finally sent Bopak's wife for Umrah.
"You're so cheeky, your debt of 80 million is not settled yet," replied Raffi Ahmad.
Bopak was then contacted by Merry, Raffi Ahmad's assistant. Bopak was so shocked when Merry mentioned that it was not only his wife who would be going for Umrah, but him as well.
"Bopak, get ready on December 17th for Umrah together with Merry too," said Bopak imitating Merry's voice. "But my wife is not me," said Bopak Castello.
"No, they have both left and have been paid for by AA," Merry said again.
He couldn't hold back his emotions because of Raffi's kindness. "It's a blessing in itself how kind Raffi Ahmad is to give Umrah gifts to Bopak and his wife.... Bopak couldn't say anything because he was happy and grateful.... may Raffi always be in blessings.... along with his family....," Bopak wrote in the caption column of his Instagram.
