Nagita Slavina Hopes the Youth Sports Series by RANS Entertainment Will Be Present in Various Cities in Indonesia

Kapanlagi.com - RANS Entertainment launched the Youth Sports Series through a high school basketball competition in Jakarta. Although it has just held its inaugural edition in the capital with basketball, Nagita Slavina hopes that the program can expand to various regions and feature more sports disciplines.

Nagita stated that this inaugural event is the first step for RANS Entertainment to create a platform for young athletes. In the future, she wants similar opportunities to be available for students in other cities across Indonesia.

1. Wants to Present Athlete Regeneration Since School Age

"Maybe this time in Jakarta, please pray that in the future it won’t just be in Jakarta, but also in other cities. Bismillah, insyaallah blessings for everyone. Thank you," said Nagita Slavina when met in the Senopati area, South Jakarta, Thursday (16/7/2026).

According to Nagita, the Youth Sports Series was born from her desire to present athlete regeneration since school age. She believes that high school students are the right generation to have a space to showcase their abilities while preparing themselves for a higher level.

"I also see that my child really loves basketball, and it seems that in the future, if in the past we held events for people my age, it would be good to regenerate. In the future, it will be more sustainable, so why don’t we create an event for high school students? Because the successors will definitely be high school kids, right?" she explained.

2. Nagita Wants the Youth Sports Series to Contribute to Sports in Indonesia

Through this competition, Nagita hopes that students will have a platform to showcase their abilities. She also wants the Youth Sports Series to contribute to the development of sports in Indonesia.

"This becomes a stage for those who want to show themselves, their abilities. It is hoped that in the future it can be good for the future of sports in Indonesia. So, God willing, amen," Nagita continued.

For the inaugural event, RANS chose basketball because they see that the sport has great potential and remains popular from generation to generation. With the support of promotions and the sportainment concept brought by RANS, Nagita is optimistic that basketball can reach more people.

"It seems like when talking about basketball from when I was little until now it has always been there. Yes, there are ups and downs, but it is there. So I feel like if it is supported a little, it could become something longer and better," she explained.
