In response to the criticism, the actress who starred in the movie Eiffel I'm In Love immediately clarified it through a post on her Instagram social media account, on Saturday (11/7). In the post, Shandy stated that her decision to give complementary feeding to her child before the age of 6 months had gone through consultations with a pediatrician and a nutrition specialist.

"I have consulted with Dr. Eric Gultom Sp A.(K), a pediatrician, and Dr. Samuel Oetoro, a nutrition specialist, regarding Claire's complementary feeding, so it's not just my presumptuous decision," wrote Shandy Aulia with a tone that sounded quite annoyed.

2. Absolute Decision

Furthermore, Shandy explained that the decision to give complementary feeding to a child is an absolute decision of a mother. The menu choices for complementary feeding are also carefully selected after consulting with experts.

"Early complementary feeding is an absolute choice of a mother if the baby is ready for it. I chose to exclusively breastfeed and introduce complementary feeding to Claire before 6 months (NO FORMULA) as my decision and way of taking care of Claire, which I believe is the best for my child," explained Shandy.
