Portrait of Nino Fernandez Enjoying Shopping at the Market, Quick to Chat with Vendors

Actor Nino Fernandez has shopping skills that many people may not know about. The husband of Steffi Zamora was seen relaxed and enjoying shopping for kitchen necessities at a traditional market some time ago.

In the video he posted on Tiktok, Nino appeared quick to interact with the vendors. Instead of haggling, which is typical in market activities, he actually gave extra money to the vendors as a form of appreciation for their service and the quality of their products.

Let’s take a look at the fun photos of Nino shopping at the traditional market below.

Nino is quick in selecting the groceries he will buy. In his TikTok video, Nino even examines the texture of the chicken meat he is about to purchase. “If I buy two, can I get one for 90? Okay, then I’ll take two. Four pieces then, that’s fine. You’re really good at cutting, aren’t you? Like you do it every day. So clean and neat,” Nino remarked, quoted from TikTok @ninofernandez__.He did the same thing when he was about to buy palm sugar.

Nino appreciates the vendors who are very aware of technology, allowing him to pay via QRIS.

His shopping activity continued at the vegetable stand. From the video he uploaded, he was seen buying sweet corn, moringa leaves, jambal roti fish, coconut milk, and butter avocado. Nino was lucky because when he was shopping, he received a membership package that gave him a discount.

One of the moments that caught attention was when Nino was reluctant to accept the standard price or discounted price. When buying chicken for a total of Rp140,000, he instead offered to pay Rp150,000 using QR. Similarly, when buying coffee for a total of Rp145,000, he gave Rp160,000 and asked the seller to keep the change. He showed the same attitude when buying butter avocados priced at Rp165,000 for three kilograms, but he transferred Rp170,000 because he felt the vendor was very kind in serving. For Nino, giving extra money is his way of appreciating the hard work of local traders.

Nino doesn't just shop for groceries. He also bought some cooking tools like a cake whisk grater.
