Superglad Re-releases the Song "Satu" in Collaboration with Dozens of Top Musicians in the Country

Kapanlagi.com - In the early 2000s, the band Superglad released a song titled "Satu". A song dedicated to friends who are famous for HIV/AIDS. In 2020, Superglad re-released the song coinciding with World HIV/AIDS Day on December 1st.

A number of musicians are involved in this latest version of "Satu". They are Pamungkas, Marcello Tahitoe, Tuan Tigabelas, Marcell Siahaan, Oom Leo, Prince Husein, Danilla, Endah Widiastuti, Melanie Soeboeno, and Rey Marshall, the guitarist of Kelompok Penerbang Roket.

What makes it special is that the proceeds from the sale of the song "Satu" will be donated to those in need through cooperation with Melanie Soeboeno's Rumah Harapan.

"2020 is actually a year that many people do not want to experience due to the pandemic, because finally many people are experiencing difficulties and also for those who are in need outside because of the impact of the pandemic," said Luks, the vocalist of Superglad, on Tuesday (12/1/2020).

Through the song "Satu" (One), the band consisting of Luks (Vocals/Guitar), Giox (Bass), and Akbar (Drums) wants to contribute directly to a project called Project Charity.

"With that situation, Superglad wants to contribute by providing assistance in the way we can through a project that we call Project Charity," said Luks.

In addition, the latest music video for the song "Satu" is also available to watch on the Superglad TV YouTube channel. Created by Christ Pelamonia, this music video concept represents the voices of people affected by the pandemic and forced to endure unfavorable circumstances in 2020.

2. Known as the Millennial Generation

This idea came from Superglad's manager named Deyuri. He said, through this idea Superglad can be known by the millennial generation.

"Because Superglad once reached its peak in the early 2000s and disappeared in late 2017 until it returned in August 2019. From there, Deyuri conducted research on how well Superglad is known in 2020. From there, the idea of remaking the song "Satu" was created so that Superglad could be known again by the millennial generation now," Deyuri concluded.
