The Atmosphere of the Mourning House of Ivanka Slank's Mother, Kaka Slank Came to Condole

The atmosphere of grief enveloped the residence of Slank's bassist, Ivan Kurniawan or Ivanka, in the Tebet area, South Jakarta, on Monday (3/8/2026). His mother, Nikma Arifin binti Muchsin, passed away in the morning after undergoing treatment due to illness.

The body is now laid to rest at the mourning house located at Jalan Tebet Timur I C Number 2 before being buried after Ashar at TPU Tanah Kusir. Several relatives, friends, and fellow musicians began to arrive to express their condolences to the family.

A mourning information board was installed in front of the house with the identity of the deceased, complete with the date of birth, time of death, and details of the mourning house location.

Ivanka was seen in the front area of the house to greet the mourners. Despite her grief, she still tried to greet and accept condolences.

Close family friends began arriving since the afternoon. They took turns entering the mourning house to pay their last respects to the deceased.

Slank personnel, Kaka, was also present to pay respects as a form of support for Ivanka. His presence demonstrated the strong bond of brotherhood among the band members.

Previously, Ivanka revealed that her mother had indeed undergone treatment. "She had been ill, she just came home from the hospital yesterday," she told the media.

The funeral procession is scheduled to take place on Monday (3/8/2026) after Ashar at the Tanah Kusir cemetery. The family requests prayers for the deceased to find the best place by God's side.
