The Body of Mansyur S's Wife is Buried Accompanied by the Crying of Family Members

The atmosphere was filled with sorrow during the funeral procession of Hj. Rosidah binti Ismail, the wife of senior singer Mansyur S. After being laid to rest at the mourning house, the body was finally taken to its final resting place at the Jayakarta Prince Cemetery Complex, Monday (1/5/2026). The cries of family, relatives, and colleagues erupted as the funeral procession arrived at the burial site.

The burial ceremony was conducted solemnly. After the body was placed in the grave, the call to prayer and iqamah echoed as a final sign of respect. All the mourners present bowed their heads in prayer for the deceased to receive the best place by the Creator.

After the burial ceremony was completed, the extended family of Mansyur S along with his children performed a flower scattering ritual on the grave. Mansyur S, who had built a household for 56 years with the deceased, appeared to try to be strong even though the deep sadness could not be hidden from his face.

For the family, Hj. Rosidah is a very special figure. This was expressed by her son, Irvan Mansyur, who mentioned that his mother is a very meaningful figure in the lives of her children. This loss has become a deep wound, but the family is trying to let go of it. "Mother may be for us... a figure that is very, what is it... very special for all our lives," said Irvan Mansyur.

Irvan also added that the decision made by the Creator is the best for the deceased. Amidst the sorrow, the Mansyur family is trying to provide peace and continuous prayers for the late Hj. Rosidah.

"And we return all of this to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, that Allah has the best decision," said Irvan.

Mansyur S himself admitted that the departure of his wife is an extraordinary loss for his life. For more than half a century, the deceased had always faithfully accompanied Mansyur S in his career in the entertainment world as well as in his personal life.

"Ladies and gentlemen, allow me first to express my deepest gratitude. On this day, you all have sincerely accompanied the body of the deceased... my beloved late wife, who has been by my side for 56 years," said Mansyur S.

The departure of the deceased indeed leaves sorrow, but Mansyur S believes that every human will eventually return to God. He hopes that all of his wife's good deeds will be accepted and that the greatest doors of forgiveness will be opened for the late.

"Whatever this is, it is indeed the will of Allah. We cannot deny it as humans. Now we see the form in front of us lying down, someone who has been so faithful accompanying me," concluded Mansyur S.
