The Flower Bouquet Terror Case of Oky Pratama Officially Advances to the Investigation Stage, Who Are the Suspects?

The Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Pol Budi Hermanto, provided direct confirmation regarding the progress of handling the case involving close friends of top celebrities. Through his official statement, he confirmed that the investigative team has conducted a case title mechanism to determine the continuation of the report.

"It is true that the case has been titled and has entered the investigation stage," he said when confirmed via text message on Wednesday (29/4/2026).

This legal status increase was carried out after the investigative team found sufficient preliminary evidence and fulfilled the criminal elements in the report submitted by the doctor. With the case entering the investigation stage, the police now have much broader authority to collect authentic evidence and to take coercive measures to uncover the responsible parties.

The background of this issue began when a man named Oky Pratama Dipl. AAAM received a mysterious bouquet of flowers in August 2025. Instead of containing congratulations, the bouquet displayed in public actually contained sentences that were suspected of being malicious slander, defamation, and intimidation that greatly disturbed his peace of mind.

The doctor, born in Jambi and known as a wealthy figure, indeed has a significant influence in the Indonesian beauty industry. Due to his close relationships with many public figures, this flower bouquet terror case has drawn sharp attention from netizens on social media who are outraged by the intimidation against professional medical personnel like him.

The next steps from the police are now highly anticipated, especially regarding who will soon be designated as a suspect in this case. Investigators are reported to have prepared a schedule for summoning several witnesses and related parties to provide more in-depth testimony under oath.

"For further examination, a schedule will be arranged by the investigators," added Budi Hermanto regarding the legal agenda that will take place in the coming time.

Previously, the handling of this case faced criticism as it was deemed to be progressing rather slowly at the police station over the past few months. The legal counsel for Dr. Oky Pratama has even continued to urge the police to provide legal certainty for the safety of their client who feels threatened by the irresponsible acts of terror.
