Kapanlagi.com - One of the singers from the talent search event dangdut KDI, Siti Rahmawati or better known as Siti KDI in 2011 officially married a Turkish man named Cem Junet Peerk. After getting married, she chose to follow her husband and live in his home country.

It turns out that Siti's meeting with her husband happened accidentally when they both attended a Turkish-Indonesian wedding in Jakarta. When they met, they started to chat a little, especially about religion, which caught the interest of this 39-year-old woman.

"We met in Jakarta, when there was a wedding of a Turkish couple with an Indonesian. We met accidentally," said Siti during a live Instagram session with Kapanlagi On Air, Friday (9/10).

"Well, from there we talked for a while, including about religion, and from there we became close (dating). Communication back then didn't have social media, so we used Skype and Yahoo Messenger, and for 3 years we talked there and became more interested and had a goal," she continued.

1. Mutual Trust During Long Distance Relationship

During their three-year long distance relationship, Indonesia - Turkey, it turns out it wasn't a problem for Siti and her husband. Because for her, the key to a relationship is mutual trust.

"How can he, being a trader, be in front of the computer every day, so he doesn't go anywhere and we just trust each other," said the younger sister of dangdut singer Cici Paramida.

2. Meeting the Parents Directly

In addition, this mother of one also revealed why she was confident in marrying a man from Turkey. It turns out that what made her confident in accepting Cem Junet Peerk's proposal was when her lover came to Indonesia to meet her parents directly.

"Because our discussions were not empty, we often talked about religion, then started to get to know his parents, family, and he also seriously came to Indonesia to meet my parents. So, I accepted it willingly, taking the risk if it's meant to be, because my plan was to get married by the age of 30, and when I met a Turkish person, I just went with it," she concluded.
