The Portrait of Zaskia Gotik's Transformation and Life Chronology Full of Ups and Downs

Zaskia Gotik was not born into a wealthy family. Both of her parents worked as laborers. Zaskia also used to work as a dishwasher and sell fruits to help her family's economy.

Since 7th grade, Zaskia started pursuing her dream as a dangdut singer. At that time, she often performed at various cafes. However, her busy schedule made her school performance suffer.

In 2011, Zaskia Gotik's name started to boom, especially because of her signature dance called Goyang Itik (Duck Dance). Her debut single was released under the popular label Nagaswara titled 'Satu Jam Saja' (Only One Hour).

Zaskia Gotik's name skyrocketed when she was rumored to be engaged to the controversial figure, Vicky Prasetyo. Unfortunately, their relationship ended halfway and they didn't get married.

In 2014, Zaskia Gotik even successfully broke the MURI record for making 7 music videos in a day.

At the peak of her popularity, Zaskia also stumbled upon a quite serious problem, where she was accused of insulting Pancasila by referring to the fifth principle as 'Bebek Nungging' (Bent-over Duck).

Several Indonesian citizens who were not pleased then reported Zaskia to the police. Knowing that her case had far-reaching consequences, Zaskia Gotik publicly apologized. She even attended Pancasila training at the Ministry of Defense building in Indonesia.

Zaskia even had to visit Rachmawati, one of the daughters of President Soekarno, to clarify another issue where she was referred to as 'Dokter Klinik Pancasila' (Pancasila Clinic Doctor).

Not long after, the Zaskia Gotik case began to be forgotten by the public and she continued her career in the music industry. However, this time she became more cautious when joking.

Besides being successful in the singing world, Zaskia Gotik is also expanding her wings into the acting world. In 2018, she made her debut on the big screen with a film titled 'ARWAH TUMBAL NYAI: PART ARWAH'.

In April 2020, Zaskia Gotik finally got married at the age of 30. She was married to a businessman from Balikpapan named Sirajuddin, who is the ex-husband of actress Imel Putri Cahyati.

Last November, Zaskia Gotik's happiness was complete with the arrival of her first biological child named Arsila Bungalia Sirkiani. If translated, 'Arsila' comes from the Arabic language which means intelligent or smart person.
