Kapanlagi.com - The island of Madura is once again sending its best talents to the Dangdut Academy 8 competition. The four names ready to compete on the national stage are Sahwan and Ari from Sampang, M. Kadhafy from Bangkalan, and Danil Handika from Sumenep.
These four contestants carry the hopes of their families and communities, determined to follow in the successful footsteps of Madura's Dangdut Academy alumni. Their journey is not just about chasing the championship title but also about elevating the image of dangdut music from the Island of Salt in the eyes of the public.
Each participant comes with a different background, motivation, and vocal color. They have gone through a layered selection process in DA 8 and are now striving to advance further in the competition.
Four representatives from Madura in D'Academy 8 consist of two participants from Sampang, namely Ari Adriansyah (Selfi Yamma Team) and Sahwan (Melly Lee Team), as well as two others from different districts: M. Kadhafy from Bangkalan (Fildan Rahayu Team) and Danil Handika from Sumenep (Fildan Rahayu Team).
They successfully advanced to the Top 37 after passing through the selection stages, including the Final Audition. This progress marks an important step for each participant in their efforts to strengthen their position in the national-scale dangdut competition.
Support from family, friends, and the Madura community has been one of the main motivations behind the hard work of these contestants. The presence of representatives from Sampang, Sumenep, and Bangkalan adds color to the competition map of DA 8 this season.
Ari Adriansyah hails from Tambelangan District, Sampang Regency. At 20 years old, he grew up in a modest family as the ninth child of ten siblings. After his father passed away in 2024, Ari became more motivated to pursue a career in singing dangdut to help support the family’s economy.

Before appearing in D'Academy 8, Ari actively participated in various singing competitions at the local level up to Madura Raya. His strong vocal character helped him advance to the Final Audition, then to the Top 42, and now to the Top 37. In DA 8, Ari is part of the Selfi Yamma Team.
His fellow Sampang native, Sahwan, is also 20 years old. His love for dangdut began in the 7th grade, as he listened to the works of Rhoma Irama, Mansyur S, and Meggy Z. Throughout his journey, he idolized Valen, the runner-up of D'Academy 7, as an inspiration for his singing.

With hard work and support from his family and friends, Sahwan made it through the Final Audition and is now among the Top 37. On the DA 8 stage, he performs under the guidance of the Melly Lee Team and emphasizes his ambition to bring the name of Sampang and Madura to a broader level.

Danil Handika became the representative of Sumenep Regency who advanced to the Top 37 of D'Academy 8. He is known for his distinctive dangdut vocal character and shows the ability to compete with participants from various regions in Indonesia. His consistent performances allowed him to continue to the important stage of the competition, joining Fildan Rahayu's Team.
From Bangkalan, M. Kadhafy also enriches the lineup of Madura talents in DA 8. His unique vocal character and confident stage presence secured him a position in the Top 37. He is also part of Fildan Rahayu's Team to face the next competition.

The presence of M. Kadhafy along with Ari, Sahwan, and Danil ensures that four representatives from Madura appear in the Top 37 stage. This composition emphasizes the potential of young dangdut singers from Madura who have strong voices, character, and are ready to go further in the competition.
