This was revealed by the main actor, Adipati Dolken, who plays the character Rendra, a perfectionist and narcissistic boss. According to him, behind Rendra's seemingly arrogant nature, there is a past trauma that shapes his character. "Rendra is actually trying to keep (his feelings), but slowly he can't handle his feelings anymore," said Adipati Dolken when met at Plaza Indonesia, Central Jakarta, Thursday (6/11/2025).

Adipati refers to a scene where Rendra's character is always asked to give in to his older brother when he was a child. This experience indirectly shapes his personality as an adult.

This inner child issue, according to Adipati, is one of the elements that makes Rendra's character feel more human and relatable to the audience. "Those little pieces are what actually help us grow, that's the essence of it," he continued.
