In a press conference held at CGV Grand Indonesia, Central Jakarta, on Monday (6/7), Anggy revealed various challenges behind the production process of 402 Korean Hospital. He explained that from the early stages, the creative and technical teams worked hand in hand to ensure the film's visual quality remained intact despite using a found footage approach.
According to Anggy, this film is not just about presenting the handheld camera impression like most found footage films. He and the screenwriter strive to build an authentic cinematic experience while maintaining high technical standards. Therefore, various experiments were conducted, including creating special devices that were directly attached to the actors' bodies.
"So when the permission is granted, it really runs in tandem between creativity and technical aspects. Creatively, I talk to Lele (the writer) that it has to be like this. So we really want to make a found footage film where the process and the result maintain very high quality," said Anggy Umbara.
