The film 'A PORTION OF CHICKEN NOODLES BEFORE DEATH' is set to start shooting on April 7, 2026.

A number of names involved include Benidictus Siregar, Chicco Kurniawan, Ence Bagus, Fajar Nugra, Tika Panggabean, Zulfa Maharani, and Teuku Rifnu Wikana. In addition, there are also other players like Jourdy Pranata, Dewi Irawan, and Jose Rizal Manua who add strength to the ensemble cast.

The director, Kuntz Agus, emphasized that the strength of the story lies in the characters built in this film. He also ensured that the selection of actors was done selectively to evoke authentic emotions.

"I believe the strength of this story lies in its characters. Therefore, we present a mix of fresh faces and experienced actors so that each character feels alive and close to the audience. Each actor was chosen because they can strongly represent the character they play, while also making this film relevant to reach various audiences," said Kuntz Agus.

Not only from the players' side, the strength of this film is also supported by the figures behind the scenes. Senior filmmaker Nia Dinata officially joined as co-producer after previously being involved as a script consultant. Nia Dinata's involvement adds a unique value. She admitted that she felt an immediate connection to the story presented in the film since the first time she read the original novel.

"Before deciding to get involved as a co-producer, I was indeed trusted to be the script consultant. When I read the novel, there was something that clicked immediately. This story talks about very human things, about how the most unexpected moments can save someone. I feel that stories like this need to be present on the big screen in Indonesia today," said Nia Dinata.

He is also optimistic that this project can present an adaptation that remains true to the essence of the story, while also being relevant to the current audience's conditions. "With Kuntz Agus in the director's chair, along with producers Philip Lesmana, Ardina Atles, and Reyno Anggoro, I believe we can maintain the spirit of this story while bringing it to life in an honest way, so that it can be well received by both its readers and moviegoers," he added.
