Yasamin Jasem Reveals the Most Longed-for and Memorable Moments in the Film PAKET SANTET

Yasamin Jasem shared the experience she misses the most during the production process of the horror film PAKET SANTET. It was not just the tense scenes; the actress actually remembers the togetherness and the chemistry built with the cast during the shooting process the most.

PAKET SANTET brought Yasamin together with Fatih Unru, Gabriella Ekaputri, Fadly Faisal, Fiki Naki, Farandika, and Azela Putri. They play seven students who must face the terror of black magic through a mysterious package sent to them.

According to Yasamin, the camaraderie among the cast was felt since the reading process. She believes that each actor had the space to explore their characters and build group dynamics, making the relationships between the actors feel even stronger when they entered the shooting stage.

"Throughout our shooting, reading, even that is missed. The only thing is their chemistry. It seems fun every time there's a group that enters the set, then okay let's try to explore and they can explore themselves. And I just have the mandate to capture all of that, and hopefully, it gets captured here," said Yasamin when met at CGV Grand Indonesia, Tuesday (18/8).

Besides chemistry, Yasamin also remembers the relaxed atmosphere on the shooting location. One of the things that impressed her was Fatih Unru's habit of making coffee for the cast. That simple moment became part of their daily routine in between the film production process.

"But the coffee crafted by Fatih every day for the cast. On set, we have Patih who always brings new beans that he finds and we try. They taste great. Thank you, Fatih," said Yasamin.

Apart from that warm moment, Yasamin also had to face a huge challenge when performing the final battle scene. This scene became one of the most intense parts as it involved physical choreography, including lifting and throwing other players as well as performing scenes that required them to interact with the walls.

"The most memorable excitement I remember to this day is... this final battle involves a lot of Fatih and Ai (Fadly Faisal). There was so much lifting and throwing involved. But at the same time, it shouldn’t look heavy. But I had to throw their bodies, which was quite challenging," said Yasamin.
