Yesterday, on Thursday (20/8/2020), representatives of the new drama DO DO SOL SOL LA LA SOL scheduled to air on KBS2 spoke up to the media shortly after news emerged that actor Heo Dong Won had tested positive for COVID-19. KBS2 confirmed the circulating news about one of the actors in their drama cast and revealed that they have taken preventive measures to prevent the further spread of the virus.
"It is true that Heo Dong Won has tested positive for COVID-19. We have taken measures to ensure that all our actors, actresses, and staff can undergo testing as soon as possible, and we will suspend all filming until the test results are in," said a representative from KBS2 as quoted by Allkpop.
DO DO SOL SOL LA LA SOL is a drama that will air every Wednesday and Thursday on KBS2 starting from August 26, 2020, at 9:30 PM local time. The drama stars Go Ara, Lee Jae Wook, Lee Soon Jae, Ye Ji Won, and many more.
Furthermore, the television station revealed that the safety of the cast and crew of the drama DO DO SOL SOL LA LA SOL is their top priority. Therefore, the filming process will be halted and the schedule will be adjusted temporarily.
"We will consider the safety of our cast and crew, as well as further prevention of COVID-19, as our top priority when it is time to discuss changes in filming schedule and broadcast schedule starting from now," said KBS2.

Preventive measures are not only taken for the cast and crew of DO DO SOL SOL LA LA SOL, but also TO ALL THE GUYS WHO LOVED ME. It is reported that some staff members who work on TO ALL THE GUYS WHO LOVED ME also work on the set of DO DO SOL SOL LA LA SOL.
On Wednesday (19/8/2020), Seo Sung Jong, a supporting actor from TO ALL THE GUYS WHO LOVED ME, was declared positive for COVID-19, followed by actor Heo Dong Won testing positive one day later. Heo Dong Won contracted the virus after sharing a practice room with Seo Sung Jong for their theater production, JJAMBBONG.
