Young Singer Dinda Ghania Releases Her Own Song 'I Love You Bunda', Doesn't Want to be Compared to Sherina or Gita Gutawa

Dinda has just released a song titled I Love You Bunda, which is her own creation. And she is only 10 years old. No wonder CEO of Mans Entertainment, Abdullah Mansuri, praised her a lot.

"Dinda Ghania is one of our talents who we see has great potential. Dinda is willing to try, fight, and work hard, as she shows us every week by covering songs. Despite her busy schedule with school and lessons, she still shows us her efforts. At the age of 10, we asked her to release a song. Initially, Mr. Andra asked us to have Dinda sing the song 'Sempurna Recycle' as Dinda's debut song. Then the song 'I Love You Bunda' became Dinda's second single. It took months to complete because Dinda wanted this song to be perfect. She wanted to dedicate it to her mother, as a gift to her mother who has taken care of her for 10 years. She wants to give an extraordinary work to her parents. The song touched her mother's heart and received a great response. Hopefully, it will be well received by the public," said Abdullah Mansur when met at the press conference for the song 'I Love You Bunda' - Dinda Ghania at Plaza Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (9/12/2020).

Dinda then told how she could create the song I Love You Bunda. Apparently, at first she learned to write songs and got inspiration because her mother's birthday was coming up. Yes, Dinda dedicated the song as a gift for her mother, Euis. No wonder her mother was happy with the gift from Dinda.

"She was touched and happy. She was surprised," said Dinda.

"Oh, every time I tell this song, I can't hold back my feelings. I am proud and touched, I didn't expect my child to give her own birthday gift," continued Euis, who also participated as a model in Dinda's music video.

2. Music Production

Mario, vocal director for Dinda, also praised the young singer. He also believed that Dinda could create such a good song because of the support from her mother who was always there. When working on Dinda's music, Mario didn't have any difficulties at all.

"This song has a good sense, because she describes her mother to her. So Dinda is my student at school, she came to me with the lyrics of the song and sang it. When I listened, the chords were nice, put in the orchestra, and I immediately imagined the melody. The process itself, Dinda did a great job. I collaborated with national musicians together with Didit Failen, etc.," said Mario.

3. Doesn't Want to be Compared to Other Singers

Dinda has been learning to sing since she was little. Abdullah Mansur immediately invited her to join the agency after feeling something unique in Dinda's voice. After three years of singing, he predicts that Dinda's voice will mature even more.

"Child singers are rarely as strong as Sherina and Gita Gutawa. Hopefully, Dinda can become their replacement. Pray that Dinda continues to explore her abilities to become a quality child singer. But she doesn't want to be called Gita Gutawa and Sherina," said Abdullah Mans.

4. About the Music Video

For her music video, there are two stories that show Dinda from childhood to becoming a singer. The production involved more than a hundred people. Although there were difficulties, it went smoothly.

"There's a choreography that I consider the most difficult. I learned the choreo in a very short week. My body is not flexible, so the choreography was difficult. Thankfully, it's finished," she said.
