Famous Indian politician, Baba Siddique has just been shot dead by a group of gangsters. The man widely known as the one who 'reunited' Salman and Shahrukh Khan was showered with bullets while on his way home from his son's office in Mumbai, Saturday (12/10).
According to NDTV.com, Baba was hit by 3 bullets that penetrated his stomach and chest. Although he was immediately taken to the hospital, his life could not be saved.
Salman Khan was shocked to hear the news that Baba Siddique was shot by gangsters and is in critical condition in the hospital. He immediately canceled the shooting of Bigg Boss 16 and headed to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, where Baba is being treated.
Salman's relationship with Baba is very close. In India, Baba, who is a Muslim politician, is known as the figure who 'unites' Salman and Shahrukh Khan after they had been feuding for years. Baba brought Salman and SRK together at an iftar event he hosted and has since always invited both of them for many years.
Salman's friendship with the former Maharashtra minister is very good and has been established for many years. Upon hearing the news that Baba is in critical condition, Salman was very shaken.

Three gangsters have now been secured by the Indian police. However, the leader of the gangsters claimed to be unafraid and also issued threats to Salman Khan.
The police are now guarding Salman Khan's house more tightly. Because gangsters continue to issue death threats to the actor and his family.
