Sameer's death was known after his apartment neighbor reported to the police due to suspicion of a strong odor coming from the unit occupied by the actor. The security guard immediately checked and opened Sameer's apartment door. They found the actor's kitchen door wide open. When security officers arrived there, Sameer was found dead.
