Successfully surpassing 79 contestants from various countries, Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu was crowned as Miss Universe 2021 held today, Monday (12/13) in Israel. This 21-year-old woman is a model and actress born in Chandigarh, India.

Harnaaz has been participating in beauty pageants since she was 17 years old and was later chosen as Miss Diva India. Her victory in this competition then brought her to Miss Universe and now she wears the crown as the winner of the 70th edition of this beauty pageant. Congratulations!

India's wait to bring home the Miss Universe crown finally paid off. Today, Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu was chosen as Miss Universe 2021.

Born on March 3, 2000, she became India's representative after winning the Miss Diva competition. Previously, she had often participated in and won beauty contests in her country.

Nadia Ferreira, the representative from Paraguay, was a strong candidate alongside Harnaaz. The two of them advanced to the final round of Miss Universe 2021.

During the judging, Harnaaz revealed her biggest motivation in life, which is her mother. Harnaaz's mother is a successful gynecologist who has been able to break the strong patriarchal system in India.
