Karisma Kapoor's Children Sue Sunjay Kapur's Second Wife, Contesting Inheritance of Rp58.5 Trillion

One of the most striking points in this case is the sudden appearance of a will allegedly signed by Sunjay Kapur on March 21, 2025. Previously, Priya Sachdeva had repeatedly stated that there was no will, but more than seven weeks after Sunjay's death, the document was suddenly briefly shown by the executor of the will.

What raises suspicion is that the document was never provided to Sunjay's children, and was instead shown briefly in a short meeting. Even more suspiciously, the document was brought by two individuals known to have a close relationship with Priya Sachdeva.

Sunjay's children feel that the emergence of the document is unusual and suspicious, especially since they have been continuously informed that no will was left behind. They suspect that the will may have been fabricated or presented under invalid conditions.

Not only that, they also claimed to be obstructed from obtaining information regarding their father's assets. Priya Sachdeva was said to have refused to provide any documents or explanations about the wealth left behind by Sunjay Kapur.

They were informed that all of Sunjay's assets were under the control of the RK Family Trust, and they were initially invited to attend the Trust's Annual General Meeting on July 25, 2025. However, suddenly, they were told that their presence was no longer needed, without a clear reason.

All this time, they and their mother, Karisma Kapoor, have also never been given a copy of the trust deed or details about what the trust owns. This lack of transparency is a strong reason for them to take this case to the legal realm.

Karisma Kapoor's children are now demanding that the court order Priya Sachdeva to publicly disclose Sunjay Kapur's wealth status on the day of his death, explaining all actions taken since then, as well as providing a fair inheritance to the children from the first marriage.
