Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt Officially Married, Congrats!

Kapanlagi.com - After 5 years of dating, today, Thursday (14/4) Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt officially got married. The couple tied the knot through a traditional ceremony with Panjabi customs at the groom's house in the Mumbai area.

As promised earlier, Alia announced her marriage on Instagram. The beautiful 29-year-old actress uploaded photos from her wedding ceremony with a sweet caption.

"Today, with our families and friends, at home, our favorite place. The balcony where we spent the last 5 years of our relationship. We got married. With so many events happening, we can't wait to build more memories together. Memories full of love, laughter, comfortable silence, night movies, silly fights, delicious wine and Chinese food. Ranbir and Alia's wedding took place in a closed manner and was only attended by family and close friends. Media personnel were not allowed to enter the venue and could only capture moments in front of the gate.

The couple themselves did not appear in front of the media since the beginning of the wedding festivities. Only the groom's mother greeted the media and gave an official statement yesterday, Wednesday (13/4).

Ranbir's family mostly consists of actors and actresses in Bollywood. The same goes for Alia's family who are also known as part of the film industry.

It's no wonder that Alia and Ranbir's wedding was filled with stars. From Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor who are Ranbir's close cousins, to famous directors like Karan Johar who is none other than the couple's friend.
