Irwansyah and his family, who are still grieving after losing their beloved father, Umar Effendi, on Thursday (8/7), are facing another challenge as their mother has to fight against Covid-19.

After undergoing self-isolation at home, Irwansyah's mother was taken to the hospital as her condition worsened. Irwansyah's mother's saturation level continued to decline, even dropping below 50 percent despite using a ventilator.

Irwansyah's mother was unconscious and in a coma during her hospitalization. The attending doctor stated that Herliana's condition is severe, as her body no longer responds to medication.

While the family is doing everything they can to help their mother recover, it turns out that before her coma, Herliana had requested not to use medical assistance in case of unwanted circumstances.

With a heavy heart and various considerations, Irwansyah and his family agreed to fulfill their mother's wishes. The intake of medications was slowly stopped even though the ventilator remained attached to the body of the woman affectionately called Mama Yana.
