Recently, the mother of two has been the talk of the town since she decided to remove her hijab. Not stopping there, Rachel Vennya is also hit by unpleasant rumors about her marriage with Okin. So, what are the actual facts?
Despite being considered a successful influencer, deep inside her heart, Rachel Vennya admits that she wants to be known as an entrepreneur.
For the first time, Rachel opened up about her personal life on Boy William's Youtube channel. Although she didn't provide detailed answers about the divorce issue, she admitted that her marriage is currently at its lowest point.
Rachel admitted that she never publicly disclosed issues about her marriage with Okin on social media. However, there was one moment when she mistakenly uploaded a quote about divorce on her main account.
At that time, Rachel panicked and quickly deleted the post that she was supposed to upload on another account. Unfortunately, the quote had already spread widely on many gossip accounts.
When asked about her feelings towards Okin, Rachel admitted that she still loves him very much. Especially since they have been together for seven years.
In addition to the divorce issue, one of the things that caused a sensation was Rachel Vennya's decision to remove her hijab. According to her, from the beginning, she felt burdened by the hijrah label attached by netizens.
"I want to make a decision but I'm afraid of disappointing people, every time I step outside, (I think) will my mother be proud, will my children be proud?" said Rachel Vennya, stuttering.
Until finally, Rachel Vennya's mother asked her child to think about her own happiness before others. "If you can be happy, everyone around you will be proud," she continued while imitating her mother's words.
Not stopping there, Rachel also answered the curiosity of netizens about her husband's response when she took off her hijab. "He asked me 'don't you love me anymore?' but I asked, is it allowed or not. He answered 'whatever makes you happy'," she said.
Rachel also emphasized that her decision to take off her hijab is not a good thing to be followed. "I know this is wrong but I am still me, just a different appearance," she concluded.
