10 Moments Anya Geraldine Reveals Being Bullied When She Was Little, Even Her Hair Was Pulled

Together with Cinta Laura, Anya reveals something that many people rarely know about her experience of being bullied.

Before starting the story of bullying, Anya reveals that she is not a person who has high self-confidence, even in her social life she is considered a very shy person.  

Anya has experienced bullying since childhood. During junior high school, Anya often experienced verbal bullying. In fact, because of the frequent bullying incidents during junior high school, she became reluctant to go to school.  

  Moving on to high school, bullying towards her still occurs. This time it started when Anya dyed her hair, while in the cafeteria her hair was suddenly pulled by her senior.

It seems that Anya does not hold a grudge against those who used to bully her. "In my opinion, people who bully or do evil to others have wounds within themselves," she said.  

In addition to being bullied directly during her teenage years, the experience that made Anya feel down the most was when she was bullied by local netizens at the beginning of her career.

However, she also expressed her gratitude to those who have bullied her, both directly and online. "Thank you very much to all of you, because thanks to you, I am where I am now," she explained.

In that opportunity, Anya also gave a few tips to bullying victims. "If we can ignore the words of the bullies, eventually they will feel like they disappear from our world," she explained.  

Anya is now different, her confidence is much bigger. She obtained this from a quite long learning process, her motivation is to be able to stand alongside senior figures in the entertainment industry of the homeland.  

During experiencing bullying, Anya tends to confide in her friends. She is very lucky to have good friends who are willing to accompany her when she's feeling down.
