Unpleasant news came from presenter Dave Hendrik. He recently had to undergo heart surgery. The operation lasted for approximately 6 hours. Many were curious about Dave's condition after the surgery. He apparently can already joke and laugh with the artists who visited him. Here are the details.
The operation performed on Dave Hendrik was reported by Caren Delano, a famous stylist who has been friends with Dave since the 90s.
"Thank God our friend @davehendrik's operation went well," wrote Caren Delano on Instagram last Sunday (2/4).
Furthermore, Caren mentioned how Dave Hendrik underwent a heart bypass operation. The operation took quite some time.
"Thank you to the team of doctors at @siloamtbsimatupang_ who fought for 6 hours performing a Coronary Artery Bypass Graft or in other words, a Heart Bypass," said Caren, updating on Dave Hendrik's heart operation.
"The doctor's team said Dave was very strong and willing to cooperate well, so the operation went smoothly. That's why after the operation, Dave was quickly moved to the HCU and woke up quickly," wrote Caren.
"At exactly 6:00 PM WIB, we were able to enter the HCU room to see Dave from afar through 2 layers of glass doors, with Dave already awake, smiling and joking. (I'm sorry I couldn't take pictures from inside the ICU)," he added.
The person who accompanied Dave during the operation was Novita Angie. She said that Dave contacted her before the surgery. "When I wake up, please find me!" that was the message Dave sent.
"Immediately my husband and I went to the hospital to hug, accompany, and escort him to the front door of the operation preparation room with a promise that we will be there for him when he wakes up," said Novita Angie.
"Thank God the operation went smoothly and Dave is gradually recovering. Thank you RS @siloamtbsimatupang_ ," Novita Angie continued.
In addition to Carendelano and Novita Angie, Iwet Ramadhan and Becky Tumewu also visited Dave Hendrik. They joked and laughed before Dave was allowed to go home.
