Not only did Dewi Yull catch up with her child who has been living in America for the past five years, she also celebrated a special moment there.
The woman born on May 10, 1961, celebrated her 62nd birthday in Uncle Sam's country with Surya Sahetapy and her husband.
On her special day, Dewi Yull received a special gift from her child. She was taken to admire the beauty of one of the wonders of the world, Niagara Falls.
It is said that seeing Niagara Falls in person was one of Dewi Yull's dreams that finally came true when she was in her sixties.
In this happy moment, Surya Sahetapy didn't forget to pray for the best for his mother, witnessed by the beauty of Niagara Falls.
"Happy birthday, Mom. May you have a long life, always be happy, and never run out of blessings. Because all of your children love you and will always pray for the best for you, amen," said Surya in sign language, translated by Dewi Yull.
Not forgetting, the mother and child also performed a candle blowing ritual. Interestingly, Dewi Yull sang the happy birthday song in sign language.
