After his transformation, Aming has been appearing more frequently on television, including on the program Brownis. There, he talked about his journey to becoming a Muslim.
What's interesting is that when he entered the studio, he immediately greeted Ivan Gunawan. Ivan himself commented on Aming's new appearance.
"In my heart, I only have one thought, I want to know how long this will last," said the designer and entrepreneur jokingly.
Ruben doesn't want to lose. He mentioned how Aming cannot change completely. "The legacy is still there. It's impossible for it to disappear completely," Ruben replied.
Hearing that, Aming laughed. Instead of feeling cornered, Aming responded to the joke with laughter. He even showed his polka dot shoes.
"I know his eyes have been judging me since earlier. This (outfit) is modest, look at my polka dot shoes," said the actor who rose to fame through the comedy program Extravaganza.
The moment was immediately criticized by netizens. Many saw it as bullying towards Aming, to the point where netizens defended Aming and asked him to stay away from his 'crooked' friends.
Furthermore, Aming shared his journey of conversion to Islam. He admitted that it all started from Friday prayer. At that time, he was working on a project and went to Friday prayer.
He wore a koko shirt during that moment and felt comfortable. "Finally, after that project, I continued wearing the koko shirt until now," explained Aming.
It is not known exactly what job Aming meant, but he admitted to feeling comfortable wearing a Koko outfit.
