Influencer Afifah Riyad is being highlighted on social media for speaking out about an incident of assault. The tragic incident is believed to have been committed by her husband's ex-boyfriend.
As initial information, Afifah is a content creator known through the YouTube channel Anak BuSuzan. This woman, whose full name is Afifah Riyad Sah Rikas, was born in Jakarta 22 years ago.
Afifah shared about the unpleasant incident in a post on her Instagram on Monday, (23/10).
"My mental and physical state has improved, and I am ready to tell this story," Afifah began her confession in a post containing photos of her covered in blood and wounds.
"It all started when my husband's ex-girlfriend created content that cornered my husband and often discussed their past. I was very uncomfortable with the content, so I responded with content that wrote 'don't teach me patience, my husband is still being constantly mocked by his ex'," she continued.
Afifah then mentioned that her ex-husband asked her to meet on May 31, but she refused. Undeterred, her ex-husband's former lover gave her a mobile number to communicate through voice calls.
Her ex-husband's former lover then invited Afifah to meet at a restaurant on July 20 with the intention of mediation. When they first met, her ex-husband's former lover immediately crossed the line and reached the peak of blind violence.
"After that, I felt everything went dark and painful in certain areas of my body. The woman grabbed and scratched my face and left side of my neck. While kicking multiple times on the lower part of my stomach where the cesarean operation was done. At that moment, I felt pain in my cesarean operation area, then I bit her right leg on the lower part of the knee, hoping that she would release her grip and stop kicking," she added.
"However, the woman continued to grab and kick recklessly. Then I tried to touch and pull her hair while telling her to stop and release her grip and kicks. Only then did she release her grip. After that, she was separated by several restaurant staff," she continued.
Accompanied by her mother, aunt, husband, and legal representative, Afifah then immediately underwent a medical examination at the Jakarta Metropolitan Police and filed a criminal report for the act of violence.
"I hope from this incident I am not physically or mentally harmed considering I have a baby and still breastfeeding, my breast milk has drastically decreased from the usual 1.3 liters per day to 230ml per day. For my friends, I ask for your prayers so that the report and the problem can be resolved quickly," she concluded.
