Born to native Australian parents, Dave lives and grows up in Indonesia, specifically in Surabaya.
Claiming to have grown up with the village children, Dave became fluent in Javanese without the need to learn. Everything was learned naturally.
Dave's popularity began to soar when he ventured into the world of content creation by uploading Javanese language videos on Youtube.
One of Dave's signature content is a prank where he initially disguises himself as a tourist at a tourist location. When people try to speak to him in English, Dave responds in thick Javanese.
By the way, Dave now lives in Surabaya with his wife named Santi.
From their marriage, they have been blessed with 2 children. This family is so harmonious and full of happiness.
Dave admits to feeling comfortable living in Indonesia even though he is still an Australian citizen. He has no intention of changing his citizenship for now.
