In her ballet activities, Fransisca mentioned her reason for participating in the Putri Indonesia pageant, which is because she was inspired by her mother.

"Actually, if we look back, my mother was a model, an architect in the 80s, so that's what inspired me to follow my mother's footsteps since I was young," she said.

Meanwhile, Fransisca herself has been enrolled in ballet classes by her mother. She has even performed in several places.

"I was also enrolled in ballet by my mother and often performed. I took ballet classes until I graduated," she said.

The owner of the Instagram account @fransiscachika also talked about the difficulties she faced while practicing ballet. She mentioned that she had to diligently stretch to make her body flexible.

"Diligently stretch twice a week, diligently split to be flexible, if ballet training should not be too early. The ideal age is at least 5 years old because the legs are already quite strong, afraid they will bend if the age is not adequate," she said.

Practicing ballet apparently also comes with the possibility of getting injured. The same goes for Fransisca, who mentioned that her toenail once came off due to ballet practice.

<nil>

"It happened...even the toenail came off, so in every practice when we reach the pointe shoes stage, we really have to be strong, when standing on 10 toes with our body weight, we have to balance, then we have to lift up and press our toes on the foot that needs impact, automatically if the nail is hit it can come off..it can turn blue and eventually the nail can be replaced," she said.

Outside of all that, Fransisca also spoke about the great benefits she gained from practicing ballet. She became more confident performing on stage.

"As a ballerina, I became more flexible and more confident because we often perform on stage, where when we are hit by stage lights, there is a sense of joy. In a theater, the audience surrounds us, and the louder the applause, the happier I am," she concluded.
