Nikita Willy indeed goes through parenthood in a quite different way. Just giving birth, she chose to go to America.
She also doesn't use a babysitter to take care of the little one. When she was still living in America, she took care of everything together with her husband.
Even her move to America was partly because she wanted to experience a much more independent life and not rely on help from her mother or in-laws.
In addition, Nikita also has her own parenting style. She even left a series of notes for her mother when she had to leave her little one and entrust him.
"What I apply is that I don't want to be ruined for a few days, so I start over from the beginning, so I give that note to my mom," she said as quoted from the Gue Sehat YouTube channel recently.
As is known, Nikita often feeds baby Izz solid food. This apparently made her mother and in-laws excited.
"So they often come to the house, right. Then they see Issa BLW (Baby-Led Weaning) too. We don't need to make porridge, just give finger food directly. Then, the grandmothers were immediately excited. 'Later he will choke, bla bla bla,'" said Nikita.
Not only that, Nikita was also protested for letting the little one sleep alone in the room. Responding to that, Nikita firmly answered, "Just stay quiet. This is my family."
"Our parenting is our style, it can't be interfered with by our parents," added the artist born in Jakarta on June 29, 1994.
Nikita Willy's parenting style does indeed receive pros and cons. Even so, she firmly stated that everything she does for the little one is the result of consultations with doctors and based on parenting knowledge she has learned.
