"You see, if I'm the type of person who never says no, never says yes, everything like that," said Raffi Ahmad when met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (28/4/2024).
"But, before that, thank you because Mas Dico, we know that he really wants to advance and become one, the number one person in Central Java to lead. Thank you, Mas, for the invitation and trust," added Raffi Ahmad.
The offer from Dico Ganinduto makes Raffi Ahmad really have to think carefully about it. The husband of Nagita Slavina prays and will perform istikharah prayer to be given an answer from the Almighty.
"Whatever it is, it means that if I want to do anything. Not only political offers, but also offers for new film shootings or new program offers, surely I will think whether the timing is right or if it's okay," said Raffi.
"We always pray first every time there is an offer, no matter how small or big," Raffi continued.
Until now, Raffi Ahmad is still focused on his plan to perform the Hajj pilgrimage with his extended family. On the other hand, Raffi Ahmad has not yet directly communicated with his family regarding the offer from Dico Ganinduto to run as the Prospective Governor of Central Java in the 2024 Regional Election.
"This is perfect timing because next week I will be going on Hajj again, meaning let's wait for a while. Sir, please allow me because this is something new for me. So, let me pray first, talk to my family, talk to my wife. Yes, next week during Hajj, I will pray first," concluded Raffi Ahmad.
Previously, a photo of Raffi Ahmad and Dico Ganinduto went viral on social media. Both of them are rumored to run as candidates for the Governor of Central Java in the 2024 Regional Elections. What makes it convincing is that their photo appeared on several billboards scattered throughout Central Java.
Regarding this, Raffi Ahmad admitted that the photo with Dico Ganinduto was only intended to support Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Central Java with the campaign "Ngegas Jateng".
"It's true that my intention is to support MSMEs, on the direction of Mas Dico to penetrate MSMEs in the Central Java region to become better and more advanced. I help coach in several areas," Raffi Ahmad concluded.
