His journey in converting is also interesting to observe. It is known that Andhika almost died due to his own actions. 

When the Covid-19 outbreak started in 2020, Andhika tried to find a recipe to ward off the deadly virus.

He then found a recipe to combat COVID-19 which consisted of a mixture of vinegar, mineral water, and salt. He drank the mixture. Unfortunately, the mixture apparently made Andhika struggle to breathe.

"I drank it right away, at first there was no reaction. One minute after I drank it, my breath suddenly became difficult. It felt like I was dying. Even though (before) I was very healthy," he said.

His condition did not improve, and he eventually thought that moment was the end of him.

"(After gargling) It becomes more foamy. So the mouth keeps foaming, never stops producing foam. Like someone overdosing. Then I looked at myself in the bathroom sink mirror, my black eyes getting bigger, almost unable to see the whites," said the 33-year-old man. "So I thought, wow, maybe Allah will take me today, at that time," he continued.

He mentioned that his big toe started to feel cold and spread throughout his body. At that time, he also claimed to have seen 2 large figures with wings.

"Suddenly, from my foot, from the big toe, it felt cold. Until my toes couldn't move anymore. So I felt like my soul was rising. Rising from the foot to the knee, and at that point, I couldn't move anymore. I was already still," Andhika explained. "If this is indeed my fate, allow me to say the two sentences of the shahada and mention Your name. As simple as that," he said.

Moments after saying that, Andhika could see the two figures arguing. However, in the end, one of the figures seemed to let go of their life and Andhika's body warmed up again.

This moment became a turning point for him to repent and want to become better than before.
