Being a guest on Vincent Desta's VINDES YouTube channel on Monday (23/1), Dian Sastro shared an experience that is often considered arrogant.
Yes, it turns out that has become a personal agreement with her family. Dian Sastro revealed that when she is with her family, she positions herself as a mother and wife.
"I have one agreement with my family, basically when I'm with my family, sometimes we go to the supermarket, the mall, or wherever, I promise my husband and children that I won't entertain any photo requests," Dian Sastro told Vincent and Desta.
After that, Dian Sastro also experienced rejecting taking photos with fans while on vacation with her family. She even felt that she was not being a mother and wife when she was bothered by fans who wanted to take photos.
"Because I have experienced it once, I gave it and it turns out that the others next to me were too proud to ask, so in the end it's allowed, finally I queued, and then I spent this Sunday with my family, so I wasn't too focused because I was taking care of this 80 percent, taking care of people I met in public places," Dian Sastro continued her story.
And at that time, Dian Sastro immediately made a decision not to respond to fans asking for photos during the vacation with her family, except when working.
"Finally, I made a decision, okay I will take a photo if I'm in a fan meeting event and I'm working, but if I'm with my family, I have to focus on my work," said Dian Sastro.
With that, Dian Sastro is firm in not wanting to be photographed by fans while on vacation with her family. This makes it her obligation as a mother and wife.
"The reason is multifaceted, so there are contradictions because some agree and some disagree. Honestly, I don't mind if you agree or disagree with me, but I have my obligation as a mother and wife to fulfill even during holidays, that's my obligation," said Dian Sastro.
Refusing to be photographed by fans, Dian Sastro doesn't care if she is called arrogant. She knows how to position herself when she is with her family and when she is working.
"If I become a bad mother because I can't accompany my children because I prioritize my work when I have a day off, that's my sins, not yours. If you want to get angry at me and say that I'm arrogant, it's up to you. The important thing is, when I become a mother and a wife, that's my priority. If you want to call me arrogant or anything, go ahead, but I'm just trying my best," she concluded.
