He is the son of Gusti Kanjeng Ratu Condrokirono, the second child of Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X.
Marrel himself was born on June 17, 1994, and is often involved in activities at Keraton Ngayogyakarta with his extended family.
His father, Erry Triawan, married Gusti Kanjeng Ratu Condrokirono and received the title Kanjeng Raden Tumenggung.
Unfortunately, Marrel's parents' relationship had to end and they separated in 2007.
However, Marrel apparently has a great interest in rally racing. This is influenced by his father, who is also a rally racer.

Marrel is known to have joined the Beagle Jogja Rally Team, and even recently won the National Sprint Rally Championship Series 4 2021 in Meikarta.
He graduated from De Britto Yogyakarta High School, earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of West of England in 2017, and pursued a Master's degree at King's College University in 2020, majoring in International Relations.
Marrel is also known as a businessman, building a beef supplier business in Yogyakarta.
