Senior actress Mieke Wijaya has now passed away. Her body was buried at the Tanah Kusir Public Cemetery (TPU) in South Jakarta, Wednesday (4/5/2022).
In addition to her family, several senior actors and actresses accompanied Mieke Wijaya to her final resting place, such as Deddy Mizwar, Widyawati, Tio Pakusadewo, Roy Marten, and Jajang C. Noer.

The body of Mieke Wijaya arrived at the Tanah Kusir Public Cemetery around 13:00 WIB accompanied by mourners.
Mieke Wijaya's child, Nia Zulkarnaen and her husband, Ari Sihasale, also accompanied their mother to her final resting place.
While holding a photo of her mother, Nia Zulkarnaen and Ari Sihasale, wearing white clothes and masks, looked so sad as they walked to accompany their mother to the grave.
Nia Zulkarnaen couldn't hold back her tears as her mother was laid to rest. She was seen shedding tears while sobbing on the shoulder of her beloved husband, Ari Sihasale.
Nia's gaze also continued to be directed towards her mother's grave as Mieke's body merged with the ground. "Mama," said Nia Zulkarnaen.
Meanwhile, Nia's husband, Ari Sihasale, tried to calm his wife who continued to cry during the funeral process.
After the funeral, both Nia and Ari also scattered flowers on their mother's grave.
For your information, Mieke Wijaya passed away after battling diabetes and cancer. She was also hospitalized for 45 days.
Nia described the moment of Mieke Widjaja's passing as very peaceful. Her children even bid farewell by kissing Mieke's hand.
Mieke Wijaya was an actress born in Bandung, West Java on March 17, 1939.
Throughout her acting career, Mieke Wijaya has been nominated for several awards, including three Citra Festival Film Indonesia trophies, and she has won all three. Mieke Wijaya is also well-known for her role in the film titled Tiga Dara.
