In addition to modeling and acting in soap operas, Sahrul also pursued the world of singing.

Since 2019, Sahrul Gunawan has been involved in politics. Sahrul is known to have run as a legislative candidate for the Indonesian Parliament (DPR RI) in 2019, supported by the Nasdem party. Unfortunately, he was not able to make it to the Senayan.
Meanwhile, in 2020, Sahrul ran as a candidate for vice regent of Bandung Regency.
This time his efforts were successful and now Sahrul has been inaugurated and is ready to directly contribute to the development of his region.
