15 Portraits of Monna Frans, Hotman Paris' Second Wife Who was Converted by Gus Miftah - Receives Fantastic Monthly Salary from the Lawyer

Monna Frans, that's her name. She is the second personal assistant to the famous lawyer Hotman Paris. She was recruited by Hotman last year in 2021.

"I became the second assistant since last year. Actually, I was recruited to handle Hotman's business in Bali, that was the initial plan. But due to Covid, everything is on hold. So for now, I am temporarily working as his assistant in Jakarta," said Monna Frans in Jakarta a while ago.

Since becoming Hotman Paris' assistant, Monna admitted that she has been receiving a fantastic salary.

"Extraordinary, not only the bonus (salary) is definitely in the double digits. If it's me, it's monthly salary. But if it's the others, honestly I don't know," she said.

Monna acknowledged that the bonuses given by Hotman are diverse. It can be in the form of goods or money. Monna admitted that her economic life has improved since becoming Hotman Paris' assistant.

"There are so many that I even bought a car," she said.

When asked about personal matters, Monna said that she is now 32 years old and still single. Regarding religion, she admitted that she recently converted to Islam.

"I converted on May 3, 2022. Officially converted by Gus Miftah," she said.

Monna's decision to embrace Islam happened since last year. It started from conversations with one of her Muslim family members. Monna often receives advice on life according to Islamic teachings.

"From the heart, since last year, it has been leaning towards being a Muslim. So, I have a Muslim family member and I like to confide in them, and they give me advice based on their religion. They also often pray for me according to their religion," she said.

Even so, Monna tried fasting during Ramadan, even though she has not embraced Islam yet.

"Before converting, I tried fasting. Alhamdulillah, I was able to do it successfully. There were a couple of times when I missed it. Then, I gave zakat fitrah. There, I asked the religious teacher if it was allowed or not (fasting and giving zakat), considering I'm not yet a Muslim," said Monna.

"According to the preacher, it's very possible. He said that if you can fast, it means your faith is very strong. Then he immediately invited me to convert. Because I was already sure, I finally tried to say the declaration of faith. After that, on May 3rd, I met Gus Miftah. Finally, I converted by Gus Miftah and witnessed by Gus Ipang Wahid," he continued.

After converting, Monna felt many changes within herself. Internally, she felt a deeper sense of peace compared to before.

"I'm more happy and relieved. Because I don't want to stand on two feet. Because religion should not be taken lightly. So I am very determined to embrace Islam," she said.
