For this 49-year-old comedian and politician, one of the things that makes their marriage last is their understanding of each other.

"We just go with the flow like any other married couple. If there's a problem, we solve it as soon as possible. Marriage is not about aligning desires, but about understanding each other's flaws," said Eko Patrio when recently interviewed.

1. Never Forbid Wife

In addition, since the beginning of marriage, Eko Patrio has revealed that he never forbids his wife from doing anything, especially related to work.

As a husband and head of the family, he only reminds Viona that their children are the top priority, even when he is working. And they must always take care of their health.

"I have never forbidden my wife from the beginning of our marriage until now. If she wants to shoot, she can shoot. But I just remind her to prioritize the children and take care of her health. At our age, it's not about chasing material things, being blessed with good health is already a great gift," said this father of 3 children. 

2. Often Dating

Eko Patrio also revealed that he still sets aside time to go on dates with his wife. Especially on weekends, he usually takes Viona out for a date. 

"The most common dating place is the cinema. So, every Saturday, I dedicate it to my wife, so we can go on a date, watch movies at the cinema, and since the cinemas are closed, we watch on TV, like on Netflix," he explained. 

"Basically, we enjoy ourselves, and on Sundays, we dedicate our time to the children and family, like going for a walk, doing sports together," he added.
