Jessica Iskandar's life has become a public spotlight after she was involved in a fraud case. As a result of the case, she lost money and was unable to pay the installments for her house.

Jedar is known to have been three months behind on the installments for her home mortgage. Eventually, Vincent Verhaag's wife decided to sell her preloved bags and cosmetics.

Jedar admitted that she sold her branded bags because she no longer needed them. Especially now that she lives in Bali, which is more relaxed compared to Jakarta.

"Since I moved to Bali, I don't really need branded bags anymore. Especially here (Bali) where life is more laid back," said Jessica Iskandar quoted from Richard Lee's YouTube channel.

Although she has settled her mortgage arrears, the mortgage installments are still ongoing. Therefore, she intends to sell items that are no longer needed.

"So I thought, if I can sell something to add more, the installments will keep going. It doesn't mean that if the installments for the past 3 months arrears are settled, then next month is free, I still have to pay. So if there's something I don't need, if I can sell it, why not," she explained.

In addition to luxury bags, Jessica Iskandar is also known to sell her luxury cosmetics. "Not only bags, but I also have a lot of cosmetics from when I was an artist, and I presale them. For example, I buy a foundation for Rp 1.2 million and sell it for Rp 100,000 or Rp 50,000, it's quite profitable. But I bundle them with Jedar Cosmetics," she said.

She also admitted that she doesn't care about the luxurious image she used to have, but now she sells preloved items. "As long as we seek halal income, I'm cool with anything. I don't ask for it, I don't steal, I don't take other people's money. Maybe people are surprised because they used to see me living a luxurious life, and now suddenly I'm selling this and that, well, the wheel turns," she explained.
