4 Skincare Products from Doktif Revoked by BPOM, The Detective Doctor Feels Proud Instead

The Indonesian skincare world is once again shaken by big news. The Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) has just taken decisive action by revoking the distribution permits of four skincare products affiliated with the controversial figure, Doktif or Detective Doctor.

This announcement was officially conveyed by BPOM through their Instagram account, @bpom_ri, as part of the release of a list of 21 beauty products whose distribution permits have been canceled. Most notably, the four products owned by Doktif are prominently displayed on the first page of the post.

The four products that are no longer allowed to be sold in the market are AAC Face Tonic AHA, AAC Day Cream with Brightener, AAC SB Oily, and Amiraderm Glowing Night Cream Series. In the visuals released by BPOM, photos of these products are marked with a large red stamp reading "DISTRIBUTION PERMIT REVOKED." Also read other news about Doktif at Liputan6.com!

So, what was the reaction of the product owner? Met at the South Jakarta District Court on Thursday (7/8/2025), Doktif, whose real name is Samira, showed a very unexpected response. Instead of panicking, she appeared very relaxed in responding to the revocation of this distribution permit.

"It's okay, right, that I've never sold dangerous product baskets," she said.

Doktif even views this incident from a positive perspective. According to her, this action by BPOM is proof that the supervisory agency works professionally and without discrimination. She also expressed pride that her product made it onto that list.

"That proves that the BPOM does not play favorites. Doktif is very proud," she said.

However, the atmosphere changed when the media crew brought up the possibility of harmful substances in his products. In a firmer tone, this beauty doctor, known for her face covering, strongly denied the allegations. "There is none, don't twist it," she said.

She reiterated her commitment to never sell products that could endanger consumers. For her, the safety and quality of products are non-negotiable.

Now, the fate of the four products has been decided by BPOM. Amid the shocking news of the withdrawal of distribution permits, Doktif remains steadfast in her position, denying that her products are dangerous while praising the firm actions of BPOM.
