In the midst of undergoing legal proceedings for two cases at once, dangdut singer Saipul Jamil is making another legal effort to reduce his detention period. The legal effort undertaken by Saipul Jamil is to file a Review of His Case (PK) regarding the bribery case to the North Jakarta District Court Officials, in handling the sexual abuse case.

Natalino also added that, in Saipul Jamil's trial for the bribery case, the evidence has not been presented yet, so the former husband of Dewi Perssik was declared guilty. Natalino emphasized that the man who is familiarly called bang Ipul did not commit bribery, as he was in prison serving his sentence for the sexual abuse case.

"Why did the Saipul Jamil family file for a PK, because we found new evidence, namely that Saipul Jamil was not directly proven to have bribed," said Natalino Manuel in his press conference in the Cipayung area, East Jakarta, on Friday (5/3).

"He is inside the detention and it is impossible for him to get out of detention. He cannot get out of detention, that's the point," he continued.

The 40-year-old man's goal in filing for a PK is his right as a convict who wants to obtain legal leniency in a bribery case that still has suspicious suspects. If the PK is granted by the judge, Natalino revealed that Saipul Jamil will be released earlier than before, so Bang Ipul can immediately return to his family's embrace.

"The goal is that we hope Saipul Jamil's punishment will be reduced and lighter than three years in prison. Maybe if the PK is accepted, the punishment that was originally 3 years could be reduced to two years. If it's two years, there is a possibility that he will be released in March," concluded Saipul Jamil's legal counsel.
