Raffi Ahmad expressed deep condolences for the passing of Uya Kuya's father, Naraya Sutrasno, who passed away on Wednesday morning (30/10/2024). Raffi immediately attended the funeral home in the Duren Sawit area, East Jakarta, to pay his last respects to his friend's father.
The figure of Naraya Sutrasno was well-known to Raffi, who had met the deceased while performing the pilgrimage with Uya Kuya. Here are the details.
"My deepest condolences to his family, to Mr. Uya Kuya, my friend as well," said Raffi when met at the funeral home on Wednesday (30/10/2024).
Raffi shared his memories with the late one in the Holy Land. According to him, Uya's father was a kind and friendly person. "Especially back then, we had an experience together with the late one, Uya Kuya's father, we met in the Holy Land together, he was very good," said Raffi Ahmad.
For Raffi, Uya's father was not just a warm parent but also had a significant influence on Uya's political career. "Indeed, Kak Uya himself was motivated to enter politics because of his family, including support from his father, the late one," he said.
Raffi also received information from Uya's family that the late one had experienced heart health issues. However, after undergoing medical treatment, his condition improved for a while. "They said he was in good health earlier. He had some heart issues, but he was better," he explained.
The sad news was heard by Raffi while he was at his office. Without a second thought, he decided to go straight to the funeral home to see the deceased for the last time.
