A while ago, a video of a man pushing a waitress went viral on social media. It is known that the man is Robby Purba.

However, the presenter finally clarified that his action was only to promote his latest show titled 'Lambe Tujuh' on Trans 7.

"Well, it's revealed, haha. No, it's not a setup. Promotions come in various forms, right? This is a form of promotion and for me, it is enough and should be taken," said Robby Purba in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Monday (15/2).

“But honestly, there was no intention to prank netizens or anything, there was no intention at all, indirectly or anything like that. But the intention was indeed to make a social experiment video,” he continued.

Because of that video, Robby Purba was bullied by netizens on his social media. He admitted that he was afraid to read those comments.

“Oh, honestly, I dare not read (the comments). Not because of anything, because I rarely get bullied, but when I got bullied thousands of times like that and didn't expect such a big impact, I just accepted it and this is probably what happens to us if we create something unpleasant. Well, I take it as a lesson,” explained Robby Purba.

This incident also made him regretful and turned it into a lesson so that in the future he can do better in doing something.

"Honestly, I regret it. The impact of the regret is real. Sometimes I ignore the people around me. That's why I feel that other artists who are stronger in dealing with netizens' bullying. As for me, I was bullied just because of a contract, and I was already nervous, let alone if it's real bullying, it means their mentality is really tough," he concluded.
