Artist Venna Melinda must hold the status of Ferry Irawan's wife for a longer time. This is because the mother of three children decided to withdraw her divorce lawsuit at the South Jakarta Religious Court.
Wijayono Hadi Sukrisno, Venna's attorney, stated that until now, Ferry Irawan's residence address has not been found. Therefore, they decided to withdraw the lawsuit for now. Read more details below!
"Today is the continuation of the hearing for Ms. Venna. So earlier, the agenda was still about finding the address of the defendant," he said after the hearing on Monday (14/10/2024). "And this is the second hearing, so we were informed by the panel of judges that the address is indeed not valid," said the man commonly called Kris.
Apparently, two addresses of Ferry's house have been submitted by his party. However, unfortunately, at both addresses, the defendant does not reside.
Kris and Venna agreed to withdraw the divorce lawsuit. And soon, they will refile a new divorce lawsuit against Ferry Irawan. "So the first address is not valid, the second address is also not valid, so we were given a response that we will withdraw and soon we will re-register again," Kris explained.
Meanwhile, the defendant's party apparently also did not respond to the divorce lawsuit filed by Venna. For that reason, Venna will file a new lawsuit this week.
"If there is an interaction between lawyer and lawyer, it means there is a defendant, but there is no defendant at all in this case. That's why we withdrew and filed a ghost lawsuit.
"This week we will register, so we will do it soon after the determination is issued. Maybe the determination will come out tomorrow, so we might register it (the ghost lawsuit) tomorrow," he concluded.
